Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
- Candidates born between January 1, 2005, and July 1, 2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.
- The maximum age limit for enrolment is 21 years.
Eligibility Criteria for Educational Qualifications:
For Science Subjects:
- 10+2/Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, and English, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
OR - Diploma in Engineering in relevant disciplines with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
OR - Vocational Course including Physics and Mathematics with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
For Other than Science Subjects:
10+2/Intermediate in any stream, with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
Marital Status
- Only unmarried candidates are eligible.
- Female candidates must commit not to become pregnant during the 4-year engagement period.
Selection Process
Phase-I: Online Test
- Science Subjects: 60 minutes
- Other than Science Subjects: 45 minutes
- Both Science and Other Subjects: 85 minutes
- Marking Scheme:
- +1 for correct answers
- -0.25 for incorrect answers
Phase-II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- 1.6 km run:
- Males: Within 7 minutes
- Females: Within 8 minutes
- Additional Requirements:
- Push-ups, sit-ups, and squats
Phase-III: Medical Examination
- Conducted by the Air Force Medical Team according to IAF standards.
Adaptability Tests I & II
- Assess candidates’ suitability for IAF operations and military lifestyle.
